五月祭アプリ app for iPhone and iPad

◆This is the first official app for May Festival of The University of Tokyo!!

This app will help you a lot when you come to May Festival.

Sample cases are :
"Its kind of annoying to find places and time in official brochures."
"What kind of events are inside this building?"
"I know where the event will be held, but I could be lost because there are so many buildings in the campus!"
"I want to see heaps of events, but it can be bothering to manage all of them."

◆Main features

[Event Search]
- Search events by name
- List events according to categories
- List recommended events
- Store favorite events

[Map]
- Show current location and events location
- Show how crowded each event is
- List all events in each building

[Schedule]
- List all favorite events ordered by upcoming time
- Send notification 30 minutes before a favorite event will start

[Photo Mosaic]
- Upload photos to make photo mosaics
- Generate photo mosaics in real time by photos which users have uploaded

[Video Time Line]
- Upload videos to see what kind of event it is

- Location(optional)

- Device information(whether iPhone or iPad)
- Favorite events
- Uploaded pictures

We will only collect data listed above. The data will be used only for visualizing real time GPS in an event, calculating congestion rates, and generating photo mosaics.

This app asks users to give it GPS information in background, which is optional. The data is fetched only on 14th and 15th of May, and only in Hongo and Yayoi capmus area.

This app also asks users to give it camera access(optional) and album access(optional) when they upload photos. The photos uploaded will be used to generate photo mosaics in the app.

◆Note
This app requires the use of GPS running in the background (you can reject) to calculate crowded rates of the building and display the your current location in the map. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. This app collects the GPS data only 2016/05/14,15 and in the University of Tokyo.

This app requires user to permit the access for camera and album (you can reject). Posted pictures are used to create real-time mosaic art.

Users can report the posted movie to administrator when they regard the video as inappropriate.
Developers of this app can delete the reported movie. In addition, user can delete their own movie on this app.
